The manager Sam is great! Excellent customer service and ease of service. Very accommodating and fast. Best location from here to Alberta by far!
This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced!!! I pre-booked a flatbed 6x12 trailer a month before I needed it to ensure I had what I needed!! Went to pick it up and they did not have my 6x12 trailer, instead they gave me a 5x9 trailer which was useless for my needs!!! Instead of making one trip on this 108 degree day we had to make several!!! Will never use this facility at 2890 Dougall Ave. again!! And not to mention the extra gas it cost to make more trip's!!! Very incompetent!!! Never again at this location!! Will also be posting this experience on social media to protect others from this terrible location!!!!!
I rented a small van. The price on the side of the van is EXTREMELY misleading. Driving past one of the U-Haul vans you can clearly see the price say "$19.95" which seems like an excellent deal. It was enough to get me to plan my day around renting a U-Haul van and then show up to the location to rent one only to find out that the $19.95 is not actually $19.95 at all! My total bill for renting a small van for the day was $109.26 for 86kms of driving! I wasn't aware that there was a pay per KM fee, a service fee, plus topping up the gas tank. If I'm paying per KM why am I also filling up the gas tank? Not to mention U-Haul charges you for EVERY little thing possible! You need blankets? They charge you. You need a dolly? They charge you. It was the MOST unpleasant experience I have ever had renting a vehicle. My suggestion for anyone who needs to rent a small van is to go to a car rental facility (such as an Enterprise) and request a van. I rented one a few years back and I was able to keep it over night AND drop it off in a location that was 2 hours away from me all for $50 + gas. Do not use U-Haul if you do not have to! I would never recommend that anyone rent from this criminal company!
Made a reservation 2 months in advance and they confirmed that they had the reservation but no truck. I was stranded between apartments, had to get my stuff out but could not move to the next place. Service was awful, they were not apologetic or helpful when they were completely in the wrong. -5 stars and two thumbs down
Top notch service professionals. When hooking up the trailer they noticed my wiring wasn't correct. They fixed it without charge. The online reservation is easy and gets you in and out fast.
