Probably one of the most unorganized stores I've ever visited. Stuff is everywhere. No one is ever available to help or they send you to the wrong aisle. Don't bother buying parts or equipment from this store to fix your car - unlike other Canadian Tires around town - this one DOES NOT allow repairs to happen onsite unless it is by Canadian Tire employees. Never in my life have I heard of this and I'm 32. My dad and I use to work on cars in the parking lot after buying parts and I've always done the same. Visit the West location or Tecumseh location if you'd like to work on your car - they allow this and you won't be hounded by a manager to leave the property.
This is a massive Canadian Tire with a huge selection of everything. Since it's so big it may be hard to find your item but it's worth it as the selections are top notch. You can also finder some awesome Canadian Tire deals here. I once was looking for a Stanly tool kit that originally goes for $300ish and I ended up finding it here for $60. The only down side to this store is its location as I don't like Windsor traffic and roadways.
Staff was very polite and tried to be as helpful as possible. I was shopping for light fixtures and unfortunately the staff seemed quite uneducated about their products and what would be needed for installation of those products. Perhaps a bit more training would be beneficial to both the staff and customers...
Tried to ask an employee for assistance. He shouted "I don't have a scanner!" And kept running. Asked a second employee for assistance. He said he'll send someone over, if someone is available. 15 minutes later, no one. Finally hunt down a third employee and ask for assistance, after a 5 second "ummm" looking for a reason why he could not help me, I asked if there was anyone available in the store to help as he is the third person unwilling to answer a simple question for me. Finally he decided to assist. Amazing, everyone is so busy, yet no one is doing anything but walking around staring off into the distance... Go to the east end location. The staff are at least on this planet when they show up for work.
Just like any Canadian tire though this location usually has more in stock than most. Always good deals. Good selection. I always find myself spending more time browsing than I originally thought when going in.
