Used to be my favorite hardware store, but this one always seems disorganized and without any of the great deals Canadian Tire is known for. Constantly and persistently approached by credit card sales people who refuse to take no for an answer. Will travel to the other ends of town to either other Canadian Tire where the staff smiles and offers to help. Hope this one improves.
Thought Id try a synthetic Oil change at Canadian Tire because I was traveling the next day. Customer service was terrible as I waited for the service rep to finish flirting and talking about his other career with a woman at the counter. I woke up to see a 10 inch spot on my driveway. When I went back to have it fixed the shop Foreman made a lame excuse that its hard to reach the filter and in the same sentence stated it was residue on the pan. 10 inches overnight? Im assuming the oil filter wasnt tightened. Impossible for residue. Nothing but a run around. If you cant do an oil change properly then you arent capable of offering this service. I wont be back here for auto service ever again.
Prefer this location to Windsor South. This location is always helpful. Allows you to work on your car in the parking lot and I was even offered assistance once from a mechanic working for Canadian Tire. That's called going above and beyond!!
We needed a part for my son's car but couldn't really see the exact size. A young guy in the garage helped find a working piece and we were on our way. The items purchased just in case the size was off were easily returned when we went back.
Big store. Many lanes organized with thousands of products you can also find online with stock numbers. I also have used the auto parts desk that have knowledgeable friendly staff. I always find the part I need, and they will call you back quick if you need to order it in.
