Our travel agent sucked and there was a large gang. No follow up. Disappointed.
Their description of your vacation is nothing like when you get there. I was sold a package that was 3 times more expensive than going to any other resort out there. Better off using trip advisor and finding things on your own.
The service my husband and I received was very poor. After an unforeseen situation arose with our travel plans my husband emailed the travel agent to see what could be done so we wouldn't lose the entire value of our trip. She was less than helpful. I then personally called and spoke with her. She was rude, very short with me and not at all empathetic. It was very evident that she was more concerned with making a sale than gaining a customer. I even emailed her my concerns and she didn't even have the courtesy to email me back saying "I'm sorry you felt this way, thank you for your feedback, etc." My husband and I travel often and we will never again book with Valente Travel.
Used this place when I decided to go to Mexico with my wife for our honey mood. They did what they do I guess and got us what we we're looking but in a way I felt like they were pushing us towards a specific place as if they had a lot of space left and wanted the extra commission. Could be that and couldn't be I'm not sure that was the first time I went there and the first time I went to Mexico. We stayed at Grand sunset princess in riviera Maja and it was a great 1 week get away.
Merits has been a godsend planning our annual trips.
