I used a free day pass because I was in the area... It wasnt bad but I prefer a smaller setting. This was one giant room with all equipment facing one day.. felt like we were robots.
The Womens area NEEDS mirrors for form when lifting...also need at least one stairmaster in there..co-ed section is stuffy..the gym is semi-clean..ceilings are always dusty same with the floors...before you start on a machine make sure you clean it..the gym staff only really seem to just up keep the laundry and filling the sanitizer spray bottles lol.
Its okay. Equipment wise, they have what you need. They offer great classes which was half the reason I signed up, but then they recently switched the time slot for Zumba from 7 to 6 pm.. When it was 7 pm, the class was full! Wish they kept that time slot. 6 is too early!! Some people have day jobs and family crunch!! Give us some flexibility! They hardly have any 7 pm classes besides Yoga, which is not a very Zen experience. Cant hear the instructor over the music, and the atmosphere is just not right. They say they are going to install mirrors to improve the class room, which hasn't happened. The soap dispenser in the bathroom is still not fixed. The floor in the gym/ class area is rarely cleaned... But again they have the basics.. So you get what you pay for I guess.
I quit Good Life to join here. The membership price was 10 bucks. can't be beat. The Women's only area could use a few more cardio machines tho. At least a stairmaster.
Love it here! Staff is friendly and helpful. It's taken me quite some time to find a gym where I feel comfy and is truly a no judgement zone! I highly recommend this gym!
