Has very few options to buy versus the actual Ikea stores, but it gives you perspective on some of the items you see online. Also staff is always happy to help you with your orders or questions. The stock changes all the time, but you can always get staple items there for a ridiculously cheap price.
It's a showroom so its main purpose is obviously not selling, although they have quite a good collection of small items you can purchase. The store is very nice and organized, staffs are helpful and quick. Wish they had more since I only saw 2 or 3 around. You have to order most of the furniture online and they will ship it directly to the store or to your house, but it'll probably be more expensive. The furniture presented gives you a general idea of what you are looking for, and along with the guidebooks, you sure will know what you want to buy.
no information about what is in stock is available online or over the phone. The phone number does not go to human bring just a mesage telling you to arrive in person. the only thing you can do is physically show up in store. This the 21st century and this is a large multinational just-in-time business and you're not able to have an inventory available for your stores in Canada but you can have a relatively precise inventory of all the United States stores?
In store is a fun experience. But on line is much to be desired. Many items are shown but not available so you can only partially order what you want. Then in my case they missed the delivery date for pick up but their system said delivery date was 2 days ago. I drive in wasting hour of time and fuel. Then tell me while my order has not shipped yet I could not cancel with out losing the shipping fee. Called customer service twice and could not get an answer ... just busy signal. So I submitted an email and requested a call back. No call back. Day later get an email good news order shipped but don't go in yet.Frustrating....
First time buying. Walked in for pickup, and an employee helped me within seconds, without me asking for assistance. Great experience. Fast, efficient, and polite. Keep up the great work!!
