Train service is reliable out of here, great way to connect to other cities across Ontario. Staff was really friendly and helpful at the check in desk, definitely will be considering Via Rail for future travels in Canada now!
Paid for train service but because of VIAs malfunctions was put on a busno air, no washrooms. Arrived at my destination an hour late and missed my ride. The connecting train knew of the malfunction and couldnt wait 5 minutes.No refund given.Terrible customer service
The train station is clean and large enough for the size of the city. Theres free wifi. Bring your own food and drinks for the train as Via Rail is expensive on board. Theres a Tim Hortons across the street. A Discount rental car kiosk is in the station if you need it.
First time on the via and was surprised with the great experiences had with them. The Windsor station is not huge. But very nice. And cozy. Lots of couches and seats for riders. Clean bathrooms. And helpful staff.
It's really 50/50, half the time everything goes reasonably smoothly, other times you can be delayed for over an hour with little explanation. If you choose via, you're flipping the coin and hoping for the best...
